The objective of BPTOA is to unite and form an Association to promote and protect the interest of Industrial petroleum fuel products supply by the members. To provide and maintain a high standard of efficiency in service and to co-operate with the authorities concerned for improvement of petroleum fuel supply. To help and maintain cordial relations between the members of the Association and authorities concerned and to co-operate with the Government Organizations in connection with petroleum production, supply and distribution and in framing future petroleum policy in the country. Details of the Objective:

  • To unite and form an Association to promote and protect the interest of Industrial petroleum fuel products supply by the member.
  • To provide and maintain a high standard of efficiency in service and to co-operate with the authorities concerned for improvement of petroleum fuel supply.
  • To encourage friendly feeling and unity among the Industrial petroleum producing companies in the country.
  • To help and maintain cordial relations between the members of the Association and the authorities concerned.
  • To represent the grievances and difficulties, affecting the collective/individual interest of the members of the Association.
  • To endeavor to settle dispute (if arise) among the members of the Association by conciliation, negotiation, arbitration or otherwise.
  • To co-operate with the Government organizations in connection with petroleum production, supply and distribution and in framing future petroleum policy in the country.
  • To recommend practices to the members which would help to regulate the activities of the members of the Association and in such manner as may deem appropriate by the Executive committee in conformity to the code of conduct.
  • To have the privileges as may be enjoyed by the recognized bodies representing specific trade and/or industry, and to promote, protect and further the collective interests of constituent member and to communicate and co-operate with the Government, Federation and/or Chambers of Commerce and Industry or other Association of trade and industry, and to act in a manner as may be conducive to the attainment of the interests of the members of the Association.
  • To watch, support, protect, extend and defend the rights of its members and to procure for their benefit advantages and concessions, and to promote and foster ideas of co-operation and mutual help and assistance among all members of the Association.
  • To ascertain the views or opinions held by concerning the trade, commerce and industry, and thereby secure joint and united effort in the general cause and interests of the constituent members.
  • To give and/or receive aid to or from any Society, Association, Federation and/or Chamber of commerce and industry and such other bodies intended to promote any of the objects of the Association and to subscribe to any such of the bodies, with a view to obtain any advantage or benefit for the purpose of the Association or any member thereof.
  • To collect, receive and hold funds, money and other property for all or any of the purposes of the Association by way of fees, donation, gift, endowment, loan, trust, or otherwise howsoever and to devise and undertake ways and means to raise funds for any of the objects and to purchase, rent, lease, hold, and dispose of any building or premises to be used as a place of meeting, and to deal with the deposits or funds of the Association in such manner as may from time to time be determined by the Association in furtherance of its objects.
  • To secure enactment or legislation beneficial to the profession and occupation of the members of Association, and to move, co-operate or co-ordinate with the authorities concerned in all matters relating to the profession and the related administrative and legislative procedures and regulations, rules and laws, by all suitable and legal means.
  • To acquire and own any immovable and/or movable property necessary for the Association by lease or purchase or otherwise and to use the same in the manner the Association deems fair and proper from time to time.
  • To enter into any agreement/contract with the Government, Local Authorities or corporations that may seem conducive to the objects of the Association or any of them and to obtain from any such authorities or bodies rights, privileges and concessions that the Association may think desirable to obtain or to carry out, exercise and comply with any such arrangement, rights, privileges and concessions.
  • To invest the money of the Association not immediately required in such manner as may from time to time be determined and carry on for mutual benefit and interest of the members on payment of charges and expenses for conducting and handling the same.
  • To subscribe, to become a member of, or otherwise co-operate with any other Association, whether incorporated or not, whose objects altogether or in part similar to those of the Association.
  • To secure adequate representation of the Association in statutory bodies and commercial and industrial delegations.
  • To organize seminar and Symposium, to arrange cultural function, to publish magazines, bulletins, and journals, to organize indoor and outdoor games and sports, to promote and organize literary activities, to maintain library with book and magazines and to hold literary competitions and debates etc. for intellectual development of the members and persons in their employment or of the Association in public interest.
  • To subscribe to and become a member of the Federation of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and international bodies as may be determined by the Association
